Built on a foundation of clean, biscuity malts, Steve does everything he can to live up to his namesake.
Australian Ella and Galaxy hops bring a bright, floral aroma before giving way to an easy, refreshing finish. It pours a hazy straw color with a crisp character that makes it an especially good companion for a warm afternoon.
It’s approachable, refreshing and proudly tied to our Aussie roots — a little taste of Australia brewed right here in North Wilkesboro.

Why a Wombat?
A wisdom is a creative collective noun used to describe a group of wombats.
While these Australian marsupials are usually seen on their own, when they do gather, their group can be called a wisdom.
With our Australian roots a restaurant down Main Street called The Lost Wombat and a brewery named Wisdom, the wombats quickly became part of the story.
Steve was one of the first.

Our beers are brewed in historic downtown North Wilkesboro, but the Australian influence runs throughout Wisdom — from the wombats to the meat pies and, in Steve’s case, the hops themselves.
