Wisdom Brewing isn’t trying to be just another brewery.

We’re a locally owned craft brewery in historic downtown North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, built around good beer, good people and a little Australian personality.

Meet the Wisdom

Did you know a group of wombats can be called a wisdom?

That little bit of Australian trivia became a big part of who we are.

Our growing Wisdom pairs our house-brewed beers with their own personalities and stories—from Steve the Wombat Aussie Pale Ale and Paul the Wombat Oatmeal Stout to Combat Wombat IPA and the rest of the crew.

Some are light. Some are dark. Some are hoppy.

They’re all part of the Wisdom.

Our brewery is more than what’s happening behind the bar. We’re brewing our own lineup right here at 508 Main Street in downtown North Wilkesboro.

From crisp, easy-drinking ales to hazy IPAs, traditional styles and rich dark beers, there’s always something worth discovering.
